THE MUSIC IN THE 60s

          

It was the time in which THE BEATLES beginig to be recognized, and the rock and roll started and BOB DYLAN was most famous.

This time had a differents importants events:

1. Bristish Invasion:

As these bands gained popularity, many of them ventured into new music territory and created their own unique styles. 

2. Motown / RyB:

Music had a major significance in terms of the Civil Rights movement and integration in American society during the sixties.

3. Surf Rock:

Southern California as a type of dance music that was mostly instrumental and it became quite popular in the early to mid sixties, until the British Invasion took over the music scene

4. Hard Rock:

The sound is characterized by more aggressive tones and delivery.

5. Folk Rock:

In the mid-sixties and much of it grew out of the protest movements that were active during those turbulent times.

6. Acapella:

The Golden Age of Acappella 1963-1973 exploded in urban America along the acappella corridor that stretched from Boston to Philadelphia.

FASHION IN THE 60s

At this age the fashion was innovated for them, the fashioin was similar at 1959, the European styles dominated this age and there was a woman that charged the led with her clean and elegant dresses, pill box hats.

In the 60s eliminated the pastel colours for vibrant and brillant colours, this age was a time of progress in the fashion also women and men, pitifully this fashion lost but in some parts of the world or in the industry often live this fashion

Some designers that was relevantes in this age was Mary Quant, Pierre Cardin, Laura Ashley and Pucci.

And the most important thing for this age is that the fashion is converted like a HIPPIE.

JOHN DALTON

JOHN DALTON (6 September 1766-27 July 1844) was an English meteorologist, chemist and was the man who developed the modern atomic theory.

He was the earliest scientist who contributed to the Modern Atomic Theory

He had the first work at the age of 10, two years late he became a teacher and was a proficient by Latin at 14 years old. In 1793 Dalton traveled to Manchester to work in the academy NEW COLLAGE. He was the first person who explained that all the things that around us is made about ATOMS.

In 1803 he proposed the Atomic Theory that said:

-Atoms are particles that cannot divided, created or destroyed

- All substances are made by atoms

- When you join an atom with other atom made an other substances
